The Sasse Museum of Art is a gathering place to celebrate the inspiring and transformative power of arts and culture and to expand our understanding of ourselves and the world. |

The Sasse Museum of Art is a nonprofit art museum in Pomona, California, celebrating the work of local and regional artists of the Inland Empire and beyond. Founded in 2015 by photographer and educator Gene Sasse, the museum maintains a permanent collection of more than 2,000 works and produces over 24 exhibitions annually. It is one of the most active exhibition programs in the region. The Museum operates with free admission. Local in place, regional in scope, international in reach. A simple conviction shapes the work. Meaningful encounters between art and viewer don't need to be explained. They need to be made possible. Every exhibition is designed not to instruct, but to invite. Audiences bring their own experience, their own memory, their own eye to the work, and something personal can happen in that meeting. With over 45 published exhibition catalogs reaching readers in over 50 countries, the Sasse has built an international presence while remaining rooted in its community, a place where love stories develop between art and viewer. |
